I already have my W2, pay stubs, and bank statements, but I’m not sure if they’ll need my co-borrower’s statements too.

Only if you plan to use money from that account.

If the money for the transaction is coming from the co-borrower, they will ask for their bank statement.

I’m assuming you’re adding a co-borrower to use their income. If that’s true, you’ll need to provide their W-2 form. They only need bank statements if you’re getting gifts deposited into their account or if you need them for reserves or closing costs. Otherwise, you won’t need to provide the bank statements.

Yes, everyone on the mortgage application needs to be evaluated. If your co-borrower has excessive debt, it could disqualify you.
